Our 2-Week Board & Train Program introduces your dog to the fundamentals of obedience through consistent, hands-on training. Your dog will learn to understand and respond to essential commands, including sit, down, place, recall, crate, leave it, and loose-leash walking.

In addition to obedience, we focus on everyday manners, such as waiting calmly before exiting the crate and walking politely through doorways.

This program is also an excellent refresher course for dogs that have previously completed one of our training programs. Returning dogs will continue training at their current skill level, reinforcing and building upon the behaviors they’ve already learned.

By the end of the program, your dog will have a solid foundation in obedience and improved manners to help make life at home and in public more enjoyable.

Our 4-Week Intermediate Board & Train Program builds on your dog’s foundational obedience by increasing reliability, duration, distance, and distraction. Through structured, hands-on training, your dog will strengthen essential commands such as sit, down, place, recall, crate, leave it, and heel/loose-leash walking while learning to respond consistently in real-world and higher-distracting environments.

This program emphasizes advanced impulse control, longer stays, improved engagement with the handler, and dependable obedience around people, dogs, and everyday distractions. We also reinforce polite household manners, including waiting calmly at doorways and gates, settling quietly in the home, greeting guests politely, and maintaining composure in public settings.

By the end of the program, your dog will have the confidence and consistency needed to transition from basic obedience to reliable, everyday companion behavior, providing you with the tools to maintain success at home.

Our 6-Week Advanced Board & Train Program is designed for dogs ready to achieve exceptional reliability in both everyday life and highly distracting environments. Building on a strong obedience foundation, your dog will develop advanced off-leash responsiveness, extended duration stays, precise heel work, and dependable recall in a variety of real-world settings.

Throughout the program, we reinforce advanced commands including sit, down, place, recall, crate, leave it, and heel while progressing to off-leash obedience, increased distance and duration, and advanced impulse control. Your dog will learn to remain focused and responsive around people, dogs, traffic, parks, and other high-distraction environments.

In addition to advanced obedience, we emphasize polished household manners, calm behavior in public, confident social interactions, and the ability to settle and remain under control in challenging situations. By the end of the program, your dog will have the consistency, confidence, and reliability needed to perform with precision both on and off leash, giving you a well-mannered companion that responds confidently wherever you go.

For puppies under 6 months of age, the focus should be on building a strong foundation rather than expecting advanced obedience. The essentials include:

Crate training, Potty training and establishing a consistent routine Name recognition and responding when called Basic commands: sit, down, come (recall), place, and leave it Loose-leash walking and introducing leash manners Socialization with new people, dogs (when appropriate), environments, sounds, and surfaces Confidence building through positive new experiences Handling exercises for grooming, nail trims, ear cleaning, and veterinary visits Bite inhibition and learning appropriate play Impulse control, such as waiting at doors and not jumping on people Engagement and focus on the handler, making training fun and rewarding
